Mike’s work and travel has taken him across the globe from West Africa to Colorado, and New Zealand to San Francisco. His varied experience taught him that the best places to work are where you feel appreciated. Mike enjoys paying it forward, always prioritizing collaboration and sharing his gratitude with his partners, teams, and consultants. 

Mike has a unique list of inspirations from Renzo Piano to Willie Nelson. The common theme is they remind him that there is no ‘one style fits all’ approach in design, or any creative endeavor for that matter, and that every solution should be unique. When he’s not dreaming of his next trip around the world, Mike is a creative at heart, devoting time to the acoustic guitar and developing his solo set list. Now that he calls Bozeman home, he looks forward to enjoying more skiing and mountaineering in between projects here at 45.
