About the Role

    The Office and HR Manager will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures to ensure exceptional client service, organizational effectiveness, and efficiency. Our ideal candidate is a proven leader in a rapidly changing professional environment. Candidates must be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative-related tasks and able to work independently with little direct supervision. The ideal candidate is a proven leader that brings with them the experience, skills and abilities that include the below:


Primary Responsibilities

·         Provide general support for clients and visitors

·         Invoicing & QuickBooks coordination

·         IT consultant coordination

·         Contact list maintenance

·         Proposal set up / consultant coordination

·         Reimbursables & PTO tracking

·         New employee onboarding

·         Administers employee performance evaluation system and responsible for development & performance management and succession planning

·         Organize office operations and implement company procedures

·         Develop and enforce office policies by maintaining procedures and standards to guide office operation

·         Mailing, shipping, supplies / purchasing, cleaning coordination, equipment, bills and errands

·         Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events

·         Manage file system for accounting records, taxes, business information and other internal documents.

·         Staffing/Recruiting

·         Responsible for Benefits oversight and management

·         Regulatory Compliance & Employee Handbook updates

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

·         3 – 10 years of successful office management and HR experience, preferably in an architecture, engineering, professional services, or legal environment

·         Architecture/Interior Design/Construction experience helpful

·         Software: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite

·         Works seamlessly both independently and as part of a team

·         Quickly builds trust among employees and clients and is accessible

·         Is determined, resilient and has grit

·         Has unquestionable integrity

Knowledge Expectations

·         Extensive knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures

·         Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

·         Superior attention to detail and problem-solving skills

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Strong organizational and planning skills
