Square Feet:

A generational property inspired the design of this couple’s forever home in Clyde Park, MT. Harmonization with the surrounding land but with minimal disruption to the environment was the goal, as was preserving the natural vegetation of sage brush. The design of the low slope vaulted ceiling brings the scale down and makes the home feel more organic to the land, as if it grew out of the earth. The home is a combination of split level and single level, a site-specific build, leveraging topography to shape the spaces of the home. Divided into a private wing, a common wing with great room, and a guest room wing, each part of the home optimizes views of the Crazy Mountains and abutting creek surrounded by aspen trees.
