Montana State University- Northern Foundation requested a facility feasibility study and design for a new west side athletic campus. Phase 1 would include a “game ready” facility including a new football field, scoreboard, press box, bleachers, community pavilion area, toilets and upgraded parking. Phase 2 would include a new 60,000 sf Wellness Center which will include classrooms, banquet area, student/staff gym, team locker rooms, trainer rooms, meeting rooms, administration/staff office area with conference rooms, concessions’ area with a full kitchen, bathrooms, elevator, a ticket office as well as additional bleacher seating capacity of 5,000 people along with booster area and a full site development for parking, walking and drive-access along with landscaping/paths to integrate the design with their current campus. The entire project will also create more options for a healthy campus living environment for students and staff by providing more opportunities for indoor and outdoor recreation space. Along with the indoor wellness center there will be a walking and jogging path that will surround the campus and provide a safe and healthy way to enjoy the outdoors. The walking and jogging path will be available to faculty, students, staff, and the Havre public.

45 Architecture was responsible for the facility feasibility assessment, the master plan, completion of Phase 1 and assisting in the completion/ full services deliverable for Phase 1. 45 Architecture also provided marketing materials and help promote the design for their initial fund-raising campaign and are continuing to help the marketing campaign for Phase 2.
