Bridger Woods Road Residence

Set against the backdrop of the Bridger Mountains, the Bridger Woods Road residence was designed to embrace the sloped site with intention by nestling into the topography rather than working against it. The garage and walk-out basement are on opposite sides of the home, each tucked into the landscape on their respective lower levels. Large, strategically positioned windows frame mountain views while maintaining privacy between public and private spaces. The primary suite sits above the garage in its own wing, featuring a sitting room that separates the bedroom from the bath and closets, giving it a refined, suite-like flow. Traditional roof massing is paired with clean lines and subtle contemporary detailing. Decks extend from the ends of the house to soften its silhouette and blend the structure into the horizon. A key design challenge—hiding the road and minimizing the garage’s presence from the great room—was met with creative siting and careful spatial planning.
