Great Falls High School Historic Auditorium Renovation

Renovation of the auditorium featured adding new support spaces, making the auditorium code compliant, breathing new life into the original details, and improving audio/visual systems. Spaces added into the auditorium included a new piano storage room, a new accessible A/V room to teach career skills, and new changing and toilet rooms. Audience seating was replaced with new seating with the addition of new wheelchair seating and stage access. New handrails were added to match the original detailing of the auditorium and are code compliant.

Several steps were taken to enhance the audio and visual qualities of the auditorium space. The space received new paint including which included the detailed historic plaster ceiling. Original light fixtures were upgraded with LED lighting and the lighting room was renovated. A new projection and speaker system were paired with new acoustic reflector clouds to enhance the audio and visual qualities of the auditorium space.
