Located along Bozeman’s evolving 7th Street corridor, this adaptive reuse project transforms an underutilized commercial structure into a vibrant, mixed-use development. The design reimagines the building to accommodate a modern dental office on the ground floor while introducing thoughtfully designed rental apartments above, blending healthcare, housing, and neighborhood-scale urbanism.

The project strikes a careful balance between preservation and reinvention. Original building elements are retained and celebrated, while strategic interventions improve spatial efficiency, natural daylighting, and energy performance. The ground floor is tailored to the functional needs of a contemporary dental practice, welcoming patients with a clean, calming interior palette and efficient clinical layout. Above, the new residential units offer private, comfortable living spaces that cater to Bozeman’s growing rental market.

Through creative reuse and a focus on community-oriented design, the 7th Street Reuse & Revitalization project supports urban density, sustainability, and the continued evolution of Bozeman’s west side.
