About the Role
-Perform complex, technical interior design and provide full support through an entire project.
-Provide consultation and liaise with team comprised of project manager, architects and other design team members, and consultants in the planning, design and coordination of projects.
-Serve as a subject matter expert on specialized interior design systems and solutions.
-Organize and cartoon an interior design drawing set as well as a full furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) specs package.
-Review and coordinate consultant drawings.
-Develop and represent lead technical viewpoint on projects.
-Provide technical solutions products, and project delivery in coordination with the Partner, Director and/or project Principal.
-Review, compile and prepare project specifications.
-Participate in external project communications and preparation of presentations with subconsultants/clients.
-Prepare construction documents, including technically related interior design components and details as well as material, FFE, art and outfitting specs.
-Execute and support related construction administration process.
-May Oversee and guide the work of interns and other design team members.
-Contribute ideas, solutions, and deliverables in team and project environments.
-Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Licensed Interior Designer or actively working to become licensed.
4 year degree in Architecture or Interior Design
5 to 8 years of related professional experience in design, production and management.
Demonstrated BIM proficiency (Revit preferred)
Excellent verbal, written, collaborative and graphic communication skills
Willingness to help build an amazing company and share ideas on how to make a company
Candidates must be a US citizen or hold a US work visa and must be authorized to work in the US
